Bible Study Guide For New Believers - Volume 2
When was the last time you opened the Bible? For most of us, it’s probably been a while. Studies indicate that a staggering 80% of Christians rarely open their Bibles. Some don’t even have one.
​
We want to read the Bible, but our busy schedules get in the way. There’s so much going on in our lives, and as we prioritize things, we have no more time to read an ancient text that seems irrelevant to us. From long work hours, some even having double shifts, endless to-do lists, and the constant ‘ding’ of social media notifications, it’s easy to see how the Bible ends up collecting dust on the shelf.

Furthermore, the same studies show that of those who read the Bible, 83% never finished reading its books. Most of these readers say that they don’t understand what the Bible is talking about. As a result, we set it aside.

“More Than Words” aims to help us overcome all those hurdles and obstacles. To make it easy for us to read the Bible, this book makes bite-size stories of the Scriptures. It offers very short chapters with highlighted sections for easy retention.

This book is one of the training materials for the Discipleship Roadmap of World Harvest Fellowship – Auckland. The ministry started sometime in April of 2023 by Lead Pastor Danny Niñal and wife Jia Christi Niñal.
​
Designed to help its members become more intentional about their spiritual growth, “Following Christ: A Journey of Faith” is taken largely from the Book of John. In our journey toward Christian maturity, it is imperative to know the person whom we are following, and what better source of information do we have than Christ himself.
​
In the book of John, there are seven “I AM” statements of Jesus Christ himself:
​
“I am the Bread of Life” (John 6:35),
“I am the Light of the World” (John 8:12)
“I am the Gate for the Sheep” (John 10:9)
“I am the Good Shepherd” (John 10:11)
“I am the Resurrection and the Life” (John 11:25)
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6)
“I am the True Vine” (John 15:5)

In this book, “Following Christ: A Journey of Faith,” these words from Jesus Christ himself are discussed in juxtaposition with the seven miracles also found in the book of John (e.g I am the Resurrection and the Life is tackled with the miracle of the Raising of Lazarus in John 11).
​
Jesus Christ is inviting us all to follow Him. This book intends to help us find the joy of that calling and the excitement of that journey.

WHERE SHADOWS FALL
A Daughter's Tale
In a space one week, the small city of Manakitanga Island was rocked by seven people reported as missing. All homeless. Panic spread quickly. The quiet city was shocked to its core. One by one, their bodies were found. Witnesses volunteered some information, mostly irrelevant. Missing cases turned into murder cases as more evidence was found.
​
No suspects. No connections between the cases except that they were all homeless persons. Mayor Ysabel Ashworth, with her military background, started picking up clues that brought shadows of her past. With the help of her friend, Police Inspector Ethan Cole, they put together a team and started digging to solve the worst series of crimes the city had experienced.
​
What started as a missing case turned into a more complicated web of criminal operations in the shadows of the city. As the team gathered more information about the crimes and the suspects, Mayor Ashworth and Inspector Cole became increasingly determined to uncover it all.
​
This book also includes “The Park Chronicles,” a collection of short stories written and inspired by a park in Auckland, New Zealand.

DANNY NIÑAL
Danny Niñal has a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and English from San Carlos Seminary College, Cebu City, Philippines. His interests include Christian History, Philosophy, Law, Systematic Theology, Classical and Modern Literature, Poetry, Economics, Politics, Business Management, Information Technology Systems, and Music. All these converge into one potent writing machine that puts into the written word a juxtaposition of profound messages beautifully intertwined with compelling storylines. Danny is currently the Lead Pastor of World Harvest Fellowship – Auckland.
He lives in Auckland City, New Zealand, with his wife, Jia, and his only daughter, Danielle Angelika.
